Memo, by the Attorney General
A Chinese bankrupt absconded from Penang, taking with him part of the estate, and having committed other alleged offences against the bankruptcy law of that part of Her Majesty's dominions.
A warrant was issued for his apprehension, and a constable of the Penang Police followed the bankrupt to Hongkong; where, after obtaining a Judge's endorsement to the warrant, he apprehended the bankrupt and brought him before a police magistrate.
